In a significant milestone, the SPIC Ningxia Yanzhou shared energy storage power station has recently been connected to the grid, marking the commencement of its operational journey. As an important station of West-To-East Electricity Transmission project, this station transfers electricity from Qinghai to eastern cities and will contribute to ensure the safe and stable operation of the grid, optimizing the allocation of electric power resources, and constructing a new type of electric power system.
Project site
Located in Shishanzi Village, with a total investment of about 800 million yuan and an installed capacity of 200 MW/400MWh, this station is one of the largest clean energy shared power stations connected to the grid and put into operation in Ningxia this year.
