October 14, Riyadh, KSA - From October 12–14, HiTHIUM presented its full-scenario energy storage solutions at Solar & Storage Live Riyadh, highlighting its latest innovations in long-duration storage, sodium-ion technology, as well as AI Data Center (AIDC) energy solutions. The exhibition attracted strong attention from industry experts, customers, and partners across the Middle East.
HiTHIUM showcased its ∞Cell 1175Ah long-duration battery and 6.25MWh system, ∞Cell N162Ah sodium-ion battery, and energy storage solution for AI data centers, demonstrating its continuous breakthroughs in high-capacity storage and hybrid technologies.
At the conference zone, Giriraj Rathore, Senior Director of Global Market & Business Development at HiTHIUM, delivered a keynote titled “Long Duration Energy Storage Driven by AIDC & KSA Localization.” He outlined HiTHIUM’s strategy for integrating long-duration storage with AI data center energy systems. Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 is driving exponential growth in energy demand for AI data centers, requiring stable and reliable power supply. HiTHIUM’s AIDC solution combines an 8-hour long-duration lithium BESS with 1 hour sodium-ion BESS to balance efficiency and redundancy, while advanced thermal management and optimized cooling reduce operational costs. Supported by HiTHIUM’s expanding local manufacturing and O&M capabilities in Saudi Arabia, the solution ensures fast deployment and high reliability for AI data centers.
Giriraj also participated in a panel discussion on grid flexibility, exploring how storage systems enhance grid stability and the role of different battery technologies in supporting modern energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Sivagaru, Sr. Manager of Application Engineering, delivered a presentation at HiTHIUM’s booth, further highlighting the role of long-duration storage in AI-driven energy systems and demonstrating how lithium-sodium hybrid technology enables efficient and sustainable energy foundations for the region’s data centers.
In addition to its AIDC solutions, HiTHIUM showcased a diverse product portfolio spanning utility-scale, C&I, and residential applications — from the Desert Eagle ∞Power 6.25 MWh 4h BESS for high-temperature, sandy environments, to ∞Block 261kWh C&I BESS for flexible deployment, and the HeroEE residential series for rapid, affordable energy access.
